About
Pruess Elevator
Pruess
Elevator, Inc. (PEI) was formed in the early 1980’s
to do nothing more than buy damaged corn and soybeans from
farmers.
Harlan
Pruess, founder of the company, drove by a grain bin one day
and noticed an endloader loading black soybeans onto manure
spreaders. The farmer was in the process of spreading them
onto the ground. He talked to the farmer who owned the beans
and struck a deal. The spreaders stopped and the rest is history.
Since
then, PEI and parent company Lowden Salvage, Inc., have grown
into a nationwide merchandiser and salvor of damaged grain.
Although PEI services more and more grain elevators, export
terminals, insurance companies, and barges, our goal is to
still help the American farmer recoup money out of his crop
should it fall victim to damage. Our services are conducted
with the utmost discretion regardless of who our customer
is, as it should be.
Should
you or your customers have damaged grain, please feel free
to give me a call and we can work through your problem grain.
Sincerely,
Todd M
Pruess, Vice-President
